Thomas P. DiNapoli

“Climate change is impacting all aspects of life across the globe. Critical discussions about how to transition to more renewable energy sources and a low carbon economy must happen at all levels of government in collaboration with stakeholders.

The Annual Symposium on Energy in the 21st Century is a critical forum that brings together scientists, climate activists and policy makers for these discussions. I strongly support the continuance of the symposium, the work of Dr. Rhea Jezer and the positive, important results it generates. By working together, we’ll find solutions to mitigate the impacts of climate change and position NY for the future.”

– New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli
